Our Care Our Say
Our Care Our Say (OCOS) is a virtual event to be held on Saturday 7th November 2020. The event will provide space for approximately 100 people with Care Experience, of all ages, to discuss the design and scope of the Care Review in England. More about the event, including how to book a place, will be publicised via this website. Information will also be posted on Twitter at @OurCareOurSay2
OCOS has come about as a result of a collaboration between: the Care Experience Conference team; The Care Leavers Association; the National IRO Manager Partnership (NIROMP) and care experienced friends from across the wider community.
We believe that care experienced people of all ages have the right to have a say in the Care Review. Our firm belief is that people’s different experiences of Care, through their life course, is of incredible value in developing the focus, aims, delivery and outcomes of the Care Review in England.Our Care Our Say
Published one week on from the announcements of the Care Review in England, the ‘Our Care, Our Say’ report sets out what care experienced people think should be done. This report ensures that the advice from care experienced people is spelled-out loud and clear.

A small team of volunteers are helping to make the Our Care Our Say survey and on-line event happen. They bring a great mix of skills and experiences from care experience as well as a wide range of professional backgrounds. Find out more about who’s involved: HERE
